Whitetail Breakfast
“Come eat!” Ms. Abby called as we ran to the table. They shoved their arms in the box of oatmeal packets. I got maple brown sugar. I poured my oatmeal packet in a bowl and poured water in with it. I watched the brown sugar dissolve in the water. Someone asked me, “Do you want to play Chinese Restaurant?” “Uh yeah, do you know me?” I responded. (This is how the song goes)
I WENT TO A CHINESE RESTAURANT TO BUY A LOAF OF BREAD BREAD BREAD THE WAITER ASKED ME WHAT MY NAME WAS AND THIS IS WHAT I SAID SAID SAID… ALABAMA CHICKEN MONTANA SUNSHINE CUTIE BUM BUM BOOTE JAPANESE DING DONG ZAP! My oatmeal is done! No fair! I stirred it all up and took a bite of my oatmeal. Yum! I could feel the oatmeal dissolve in my mouth. It tasted like perfectly cooked French toast. I started to wolf down my food. We didn't have much time before we had to go to Ms. Robyn's camp site. By this time everyone else was done eating. Most of the boys where playing Omaha. “LINE UP!” Ms. Abby shouted.

Pizzas!
My dad lifted the thing wrapped in tinfoil. I went to the bench. I unwrapped it and I took it out and put it on a plate. It was cheese, it was hot, it was… a pizza. It smelled like heaven and I ate it and I went to the other bench and made me another cheese pizza and I walked to the bench. I put it on the fire. After six minutes, my dad took it off. I went to the bench. I unwrapped it and ate it.

“OMAHA OMAHA,” shouted Jasper and Mieszko. Levi was in front of me. I ran as fast as I could but…I didn't notice the rock 2 feet in front of me! “Ow!” I exclaimed. My hands were all scratched up and I had a small cut on my leg. Levi ran up to me and asked, “Are you okay?” “Yes, let's go.” I slowed down to catch my breath but… then Mieszko almost caught me! “AHHHHHHHH!” I screamed. But I got away! I was so relieved, wiping sweat off my forehead. “Dinner time!” yelled Ms. Abby. We were having pizza! “Yay,” I exclaimed!

“OMAHA OMAHA!” Me and Mieszko yelled. Kalid ran as fast as he could but when I ran up to him he tried to juke me but he failed and then he tried again but I just ran up and grabbed him after I was looking as hard as a hawk to find another runner but all of the sudden a runner snuck up behind me but thankfully Mieszko was behind me so he raced up behind him and grabbed him and guess who it was… Everett. So there three more runners left, Levi, Beckett, and Caleb. Guess what? They were all by a tent. Me and Mieszko walked very slow over to the tent, but Ms. Abby yelled, “Pizza time!” Me and my class yelled, “Yay!” We all ran up to the picnic tables. I felt hungry and excited.

CLICK. “What was that?” I whispered. Then suddenly we heard the boys say, “Let's scare the girls.” Then we yelled, “WE CAN HEAR YOU!” “Yeah so can everyone else here,” said a voice from outside. Oh no everyone, quiet, IT’S A CHAPERONE! Pretend you’re sleeping. I slowly observed outside the tent… FALSE ALARM, it's just another kid. Two seconds later, Ms. Abby yelled, “LIGHTS OUT!” “Dang it,” we all said. Then all of a sudden… “Oolalaaa.” WHAT THE! Oh my gosh, what was that? Oh wait, oh my gosh Kalid what the heck.

Run! Haha YES! Ahhh! Let's go for Theo. We got Theo but Levi got away and we got Jasper. Then we got bored and we started to think of what we should play. It took us five minutes to decide what we should play. Then we finally decided to play one round of Ships Across the Ocean. Then we played Omaha again. It was hard because we had no strategy, then we targeted people. Then it was easy and we got a lot of people out.

“Lights out,” said Ms. Abby. We weren't that tired so we stayed up a bit longer, longer than we wanted to because the boys were too loud. “Let's scare the girls.” “Be quiet.” Flick, it was quiet for a moment, then there was another flick and there was a shadow as the lights went out, and it was like Kalid trying to sneak up on us. We started to laugh for a moment but then Ms. Abby said, “You should be sleeping, okay?” “Okay,” and soon after that we went to sleep.
